　The noodles which is eaten well in the Kagoshima Prefecture is the Tonkotsu Lamen and the Champon. In general the Tonkotsu Lamen has a image the Hakata city's food and the Champon has the image of the Nagasaki's food, but both of them are eaten at the whole area of Kyusyu. Each area has an original ingredients and taste, so I think that to make a plan which travel and eat all of Lamen in Kyusyu is interesting. A characteristic of the Kagoshima style Lamen is to have a lot of ingredients. It was cooked as a dispose of foods in the refrigerator from the first, so all of ingredients is OK. The noodles sometimes can not be shown under the ingredients depend on the state of the refrigerator.
　There are innumerable famous restaurant of the Tonkotsu Lamen for example at the Tenmonkan street. However we recommand the Sakurajima ferry lamen at first. A buffetnoodle shop is in the ferry which sail between the Oosumi peninsula and the Satsuma peninsula. They serve the wheat noodles and the soba. Then they also serve the Tonkotsu Lamen. To tell the truth it has a cheap mood as same as its price, but strange to say it let us eat again and again. Though it is just a standard lamen, whenever we take a ferry, we eat sure once a day. Lately the number of the elaborate lamen shop increase due to the lamen boom, however we think such a simple and ordinary taste is just a real taste. The meal which is eaten at home every day is better than a gorgeous dinner. We feel the simple lamen must be reviewed.
