 Menu of Alcohol : We serve many kind of limited sweetpotato shochu liquor

 We introduce the sweetpotato syochu liquor we serve or we served. There are many kind of shochu liquor in our shop. For example, the shochu liquor sold only in Kagoshima, the shochu liquor sold in a limited time, the private brand shochu liquor and so on. The common shochu liquor is more rare rather than the kimites shochu liquor in our shop. The Moriizou and the Maou is a common shochu liquor, but it is too hard to get them. So the customers request a lot. We want to serve as long as possible. There are the shochu liquor which is known by Kagoshima people, so please come to drink to our shop. We accept the Maewari for only one person under 5 gou. (the Maewari : mix the shochu liquor and water before a day of a party. 1 gou : 180mL)

 Both our income and our expenditure of the shochu liquor is too fast to be in time for the update of the homepage. If there is a your favorite shochu liquor, first come, please. About its taste we introduce in under our feeling freely. So you may feel or not as same.

 We prepare a shochu liquor trial course as a standard course. Now 2 courses are. One is the biginner's course (10 kinds of shochu liquors), the other is the rich course (20 kinds of shochu liquors). Both course include the Moriizou and the Maou. We use the black Satsumayaki pottery as a sake cup.

 This is the most famous rare Syochu in Japan. MoriizoSyuzou make it to ferment the organic sweetpotato in the pot.
 It taste elegant. To drink it is easy for people who drink Syochu at the first time. It is loved for Kanto people. There is a famous story that it was suit for Kagoshima people and it didn't be sold well at the first period from starting selling. It is too difficult to buy now. The brewer priority sell at a fixed price to the shops who cooperated to sell in those days. Kagoshima people never forget thanks.

This syochu liquor is very rare. It is called one of "3M" as same as the Moriizou and the Murao. It is sometimes sold with another syochu liquor. It is too hard to buy only this one. It have been sold wiwh 99 kinds of syochu liquor under an precedent extreme. Is it impossible for common people to buy, isn't it?
It tastes mild and bright. It is easy to drink, so be careful not to drink too much. It is suit for Kanto people.
Because the imitations sometimes are sold on the internet, so be careful. Please use a reliable shop.

The Yamakataya department store which is loved by Kagoshima people meets 260 years anniversary from the establishment. A sweetpotato syochu liquor "the Gen-emon" was made 6000 bottles limited. Of course, it is a private brand.
Out of this syochu liquor, there is a cheaper common syochu liquor whose name is same "the Gen-emon". Be careful not to buy the cheaper one for this.
It is 10 years matured in the pot. Of course, it is very rare. It is made from the sweetpotato syochu liquor and the barley syochu liquor half and half. The yeast fungus is a orijinal of this brewer mixed the fungus for sake and the shochu liquor carefully. It tastes thick and mild.
The bottle looks good, so the customer often pester "Give me!". It has a serial number. Ours is No.532.

It is made at Makurazaki city on the southern end of Satsuma peninsula in Kagoshima. The old name of Makurazaki was Minaminogou. The local people called it "Minankata".
It is sold only in Kagoshima prefecture. The brewer introduced the old method of the Syowa era. It isn't filtered. The aroma and the taste are very think. It is so filling that the floating matter sometimes apper in it. Of course, the floating matter is harmless. It is very delicious.
The local people cry "Koidoooooooooi!" instead of a toast. Let's toast "Koidoooooooooi!"

It is sold only in Kagoshima prefecture. The pronunciation "Tsuburo" give a similar feeling to Tsubura. But this pronunciation was born from the method of making. The syochu liqueur is in general filtered by cotton, but thi is filtered by silk. It is near the difference between the cotton type tofu and the silk type tofu.
The particles are very fine. So people find out the high sticky feeling as soon as they poure it. It is so thick that it is twined around the tongue. It taste heavy, but it is cool. In winter it warm the body soon. It feels strong, but the taste isn't strong. The remarkable characteristic apper to drink with nothing. But it is too strong to drink, so we recommend to drink with water and hot water.

It is sold in Kagoshima prefecture only. The Takakuma Special Water is used. The water is in the Takakuma experiment forest of Kagoshima University. It was born by an industry‐university cooperation between Satsuma Shuzo co.ltd. and Kagoshima University. A dormitory song of the Kagoshima University student dormitory "Hokushin naname ni sasu tokoro" is printed on the label. Our owner lived in the dormitory was singing evrywhen some events and parties. There is a rule that the head of the dormitory students have to cry the foreword, but it is too long. So she enjoyed to memorize all phrase. A Kagoshima dialect "Kibaiyanse" means "Work hard!". It is a refined phrase. The close friends say "Kibakkuiya" or "Kibaranne" in general. A president of Kagoshima University named it.

Its aroma of sweetpotato isn't too strong. The sweetpotato is fruity. A material rose is Rosa damasukena belongs to Damask rose. It is a edible rose which is produced at the Kanoya Bara En. Its aroma is soft and calm. The brewer seek the best combination between rose and sweetpotato.

The Koshikijima island shapes like a wind-bell. The syochu liquor is made in the funny island. The 6th brewer of Shiota shuzo made carefully. "When is it shiped? Ask the syochu liquor." He produce along it. It is a limited syochu liquor, but all of powerful sake shops have. So it is easy to get comparatively. We serve it as a half-common syochu liquor.
It has a standard taste. The individuality of materials are shown strongly. Its aroma is strong.

 The brewer was founded in Meiji 8th. It is the oldest brewer in Ibusuki area. Almost brewer use the Chinese pots for production now. But this brewer use Japanese pots.

読み方はてんぷうちさい。知らなかったらてんぷくと確実に読むと思われ。宇宙麹を使用するとコクが増し、味が柔らかくなると言われているが、ストレートだと確かに甘くて丸い。若干のフルーティーさもありアルコール分を感じさせないためどんどん飲める。一方、力強さの面で物足りないような気がしないでもない。お湯割りにすると若干の薄さは感じさせるが、味が辛くなり、力強さが出てくる。良し悪しはあるが、ロックが最適と思われる。

When it drinks with hot water, the taste of alcohol is stronger and loose the sweet taste of sweetpotato. We think to drink with ice or water is best.

It is made from the rare sweetpotato "the Yamakawamurasaki sweetpotato", clean water and the black malted rice in a jar. It is a pribate brand of a supermarket and even Kagoshima people never find out often.
The aroma is soft and cool. It tastes fruity. It is easy to drink for people who don't like the sweetpotato syochu liquor comparatively. It has many lovers.

Half tastes sweet, and half tastes hot. It is a little strong.

There is a gossip that this syochu liquor is always drankn at a stable of Mr.Kojima trainer belongs to Japan Racing Association. Even it is a limited syochu liquor, the lover have.

It is made from a baked sweetpotato, and is rare a little. It is matured in a jar. The material water is the Gozen no mizu. Of course, it is a limited syochu liquor.
It has a savory and elegant aroma without bitter. When it is drunkn with ice, ita tastes sweet and mild. After that the body is hot, and the bitter taste apper. The tightly taste isn't weaker than sake. The hot taste is lost to drink with hot water. It become sweet and mild. It is easy to drink, so it is sometimes drunkn too much. Some customers ordered again and again. If you want to enjoy the aroma, we recommend to drink with hot water.

There is an another shochu liqueur whose name is Ran. The shochu liqueur is written by a character which means an orchid, but this is written by a character which means a bell. When you buy this shochu liqueur, be careful not to take wrong.
It is drunkn most or second at our shop. Its limited shochu liqueur is made in a jar. It is made only 250 bottles a month.
The aroma of sweetpotato is good. It taste fruity. We recommend for biginners at first. It is suit for lovers of a light shochu liqueur like Maou.

It is made from the organic sweetpotato. It is made in a jar. The Hanayakko is a standard syochu syochu liqueur, but the Kokusuihanayakko is a limited syochu liqueur. It is sold only in a few sake shops.
We have gotten an information that it is soft and sticky and it is suit to drink with ice. But after we tried to drink it, we though it was sweet in addition to it. It has a weak sweet aroma behind a strong clear aroma. It is easy for beginner to drink. Be careful not drink too much.

The unrefined sake is rare as a syochu liqueur. It is an unrefined syochu liqueur. But in general because the syochu liqueur is distilled, so it isn't unrefined much. Howener the Noikura is more unrefined than another syochu liqueur. Something as the fiber of sweetpotato are found out in it, someone think it is the sediment by mistake. We think it is one of the most unrefined syochu liqueur. It has a strong aroma such a brandy. It taste very strong. We recommend to drink with a lot of hot water. It may not to be able to drink much with straight. It is sold in only a few sake shop. So it is difficult to get.

The combination of the Koganesengan sweetpotato and the white malted rice was a standard for a long time. But it never give an old feeling which keep people away by the aroma. It has a long lingering imagery. It is easy to drink.
It is sold at some limited sake shops. It became popular by word of mouth. It is too hard to get. When a sake shop order to the brewer, they have to wait 2 years in general. Now it is said it will be a second Moriizou. It is an extreme precedent, but it have been already sold 8000 yen a bottle. If you want this one, rush to get.

It is sold only in Kagoshima prefecture. It is stored in a jar. It was made from the Aka sweetpotato (40%), the Vegetared sweetpotato (40%) and the Vegetaqueen sweetpotato (20%) before. But to buy the Vegetaqueen sweetpotato was harder, so the brewer chaged the materials.
It has a bright aroma like a citrus fruit. It tastes also bright and has a good hot taste. Because it is made from 2 kinds sweetpotato, to explain the complex taste is very difficult.

It is sold only in Kagoshima prefecture. It is stored in a jar. It is distilled under the ordinary pressure. 28% of the alcoholicity is rare as a sweetpotato syochu liqueur. It taste sweet and strong, but don't give a feeling of the high alcoholicity. The sweet taste is weaker to drink with hot water. It will be suit to drink with ice.

All processes are handmade. The material water is the Kirishima Rekka super soft water. It is matured in a jar. It is distilled in an original wooden cask.
Its aroma is cool, a little sweet and clearly hot. After a mouth of drinking, people can feel a hot aroma behide a sweet aroma. Its taste is soft. When it is drunk with hot water, its taste become very sweet but the aroma may be too weaker to enjoy enough. Kagoshima people drink syochu liquor with hot water in general. But we recommend to drink with ice or none.
This syochu liquor is a super limited one. It is sometimes said that to get it is harder than to get the Moriizou. It sometimes reachs 10000 yen a bottle.

The sake brewer use sweetpotato made in Kanoya city with love for Kanoya. They produce all sake carefully. It is made in a pot. It is distilled in the wooden cask. It is sold once a year. A part of reliable sake shop can sell it, so it is too hard to get it.

It is sold at some limited sake shops. It is a brother of the Samurai no mon. They are made from the different sweetpotato and the different malted rice. The aroma of sweetpotate give a bright feeling. The taste is strong, but not too strong. We recommend to drink with hot water.

The soft sweet taste is characterized. It don't give a strong smell of sweetpotato. It is suit for beginners.
Mr.Kurose make careflly. He is said he is the best touji in Kyusyu district. It is said that to use the special malted rice is very difficult and he is the only person who can handle this malted rice yet. The special malted rice was found out while the research for the white malted rice. It make the syochu liqueur mild.
It was too hard to get for a while. It is a popular limited syochu liqueur.

A head chief brewer Kurose Yasumitsu was given the Best Technique Prize by the Governor of Kagoshima in 2010. It is made as the memorial shochu liqueur. It was produced only once. So it will be too hard to get after 2012. A part of sake shop sell it. It was matured more than 5 years.

* Kurose Yasumitsu : He is known as the most famous head chief brewer of shochu liqueur in Japan. The shochu liqueur he planed is sure to sell well. So all of sake brewer respect him.

It is an upgrade version of a common shochu liqueur Shibi-no-tsuyu. It is stored in the stone cask for a long time. It is made in Heisei 19th and stored for 4 years this year in 2011. The handwritten character "Heisei 19th" on the label is cute.

They think shochu liqueur is one of most important calture os Kagoshima prefecture which is able to be proud for the world. It is sold as an in-flight service of international line of ANA and impress foreigner with the good taste. It is finished as a full-bodied shochu liqueur. It is limited shochu liqueur and made small. It is hard to get a little.

The shochu liqueur Bu-ni-se may means an ugly man which is the opposite of Yo-ka-ni-se means a nice guy in the Kagoshima dialect. There is a special message on the label. It says "Out of Kagoshima people, never drink this shochu liqueur". It shows the strong taste. Outsiders have to drink drink fearfully. (^_^;)
