Nejime is a fertile place with full of rape blossoms and horsetails. There is blessed with marine resources and mountain resources. the Nejime loquat tea is made in the beautiful place. The farmer give much human hands with enthusiasm for the tea. So the tea is rich in minerals several tomes as much as the common loquat tea. Especially it includes calcium 15 times!
They don't want to use any weed-killer, so they always go thier field with the sickle. And they dry the leaves under the sun. We think those who cost huge human hands like them are limeted in these days.
**Nejime loquat tea**
The leaves of loquat has been said that is good for the health of the liver and the kidney, and has been used as a medicinal herb. Biwacha(loquat tea) is made politely from the field to the factory. Their basis is the hands of the person. When they are mowing, they use the scythe not the herbicide. The loquat tree grow up on the clean field under the sun. The leaves are picked by the hands, are dried under the sun and roasted by the water wave with the tourmaline. While roasting the farmer don't move beside the leaves. They roaste them little by little kindly. The Biwacha need the hands much, so it give a sense of a warmth of human.
To make the Biwacha needs spend time and effort, but how to drink is very easy. You can enjoy to decoct or to brew in a Kyusu as a green tea at home. But to spend time give more much and best Biwacha. Put a small bag into a pot with 1L water before the day of drinking. To make before sleeping is best. Wait one night. The water color will be brown. After that put the water with the small bag into a kettle and boil. The water color will be deep more. It includes more minerals. No waiting don't give 1L tea a small bag, so to wait a night is best. The taste is also good. Because the good loquat leaves are hard, so that needs long time to soggy.
