The most famous sake pot is the Kurojyoka. It is for 540mL and convenience when a guest come. The Krojyoka on those currently was deep black, but this one is a little brownish. Because one made from black clay can not be used over an open fire, but one made from brown clay can be used over an open fire. Now the Kurojyoka is made from brown clay. To use with a flat sake cup or the globular sake cup which is the Black Satsuma Pottery is best.
＊How to make delicious Shochu Liquor
(1)Mix shochu liquor and water the day before drinking. Spring water is best for shochu liquor. Shochu liquor : water = 6:4 or shochu liquor : water = 5:5 is said good, but you can find out your own best combination.
(2)Leave it a night. It is most important work for good shochu liquor. Even there is no time to leave, but it is wanted to be left over 12 hours. A book say that they have to be leave in the Kurojyoka, but they will sometimes flow out from the Kyojyoka after long time keeping. So we recommend to leave in a kettle or in a bottle.
(3)Simmer them a few minutes. Because the Kurojyoka has good efficiency for keeping warm, it boils in a short time. After starting to simmer, never leave fire. A standard warming time for a IH heater is 4 minutes under the grill function.
＊Warning
・Never use them in a microwave. Because there is a case that a metal wire is in the handle.
・There are some sake cups in these photo. But this sake pot don't have any cup. If necessity, you have to buy them separately.
