Kanoya city in Kagoshima prefecture is famous for rose and green tea. Knoya people are proud of the Kanoya rose garden and made many road signs to the garden, because they want tourists visit the garden at any cost. The farest sign is at Tarumizu city where is 25km from Kanoya city. Of course Kanoya city is full of the signs. The rose pin brooch is a good souvenir becoming Kanoya. It is handmade, so all of them aren't same. There are many kind of color. There is an interesting anecdote among there that the Mayor of Kanoya paid for many rose pin broochs out of his own pocket and distributed to show off the happy Kanoya trip as hard as he could.
