Its kind was registered in 1965 with a big hope of the farmer because of its excellent faculty, but in 1966 the wave liberalization of trade wash away the production of the black tea. To product stoped while the Benihikari wasn't planted only once. The Benihikari became a phantom leaves. When the farmer restored the Makurazaki black tea, they used the Benihikari.
